Human Detection in Disaster Scenarios
Research project utilizing the C2A dataset to detect humans in disaster situations with machine learning. Optimized YOLOv9 architecture for detecting tiny objects (~50 pixels), incorporating SPP-CSPC and SPP-ELAN modules for enhanced feature pooling. Improved evaluation metrics like mAP through custom preprocessing and augmentation.
Mobile Differential Drive Robot with ROS2
Developed and simulated a 2-wheeled differential drive robot in ROS 2 using Gazebo. Created detailed robot descriptions with Xacro and URDF for physical modeling and joint configuration. Integrated state publishing and control through ROS 2 nodes, ensuring precise simulation results.
6-DOF Robotic Manipulator Simulation in ROS2
Modeled a 6-DOF robotic manipulator using ROS 2 and URDF, including kinematic transformations and state publishing. Visualized the manipulator in RViz with accurate configurations via robot-state-publisher and joint-state-publisher. Automated the environment setup to streamline development in ROS 2.
Advanced and Basic Lane Detection Using Computer Vision
Built a lane detection system for video feeds with two modules: Basic Detection using traditional image processing (Canny, Hough Transform). Advanced Detection with machine learning, ensuring robust performance under varied conditions.
Skill-Swap Platform
Designed and developed a Django-based platform for skill-sharing, featuring account management, blogs, and interactive user profiles. Implemented dynamic content rendering, CRUD operations, and responsive UI.
